Is Ovae really free?
For women, yes — free, forever, with no ads and no selling of your data. Ovae is funded by the optional partner subscription: partners pay for their own app. You never do.

Do I need an account?
No. Ovae works fully on your phone with no sign-up. An account (just your email — no password) is optional and does one thing: backs up your data so it survives a lost phone.

What exactly does my partner see?
Only this: your first name, your phase and cycle day, a countdown, how you said you're feeling today, and one daily tip on how to show up. Never your symptoms, notes, or history. And they see nothing at all until you tap Allow — you can also disconnect them any time from the You tab.

How do I delete my data?
You tab → Erase everything. That deletes your account and every record attached to it from our systems, immediately. You can export everything first, also from the You tab.

My period came late / early and the predictions look off.
Log day 1 when it starts — everything recalibrates to your real rhythm, and Ovae learns your cycle length from your last few cycles, not a textbook's.

Is Ovae birth control?
No. Ovae is a companion and tracker, not a medical device, and its predictions must not be relied on to prevent or achieve pregnancy. For contraception, talk to a clinician.
